Ashley
Office Manager

Meet Ashley, our dedicated Office Manager! A Kentucky native, she has proudly called Clarksville, TN home since 2011. Ashley truly thrives on keeping our dental practice running smoothly, but her absolute favorite part of the job is the people. From greeting patients with a warm smile to collaborating daily with a truly fantastic team, she loves being part of a practice that feels like family.

When she isn’t managing the office Ashley is enjoying life with her husband Andrew (married since 2010) and their two children, Annika and Anderson. Their home is always full of life shared with seven dogs (yes, six Goldendoodles and one adorable Shorkie!) and Ashley’s ever-growing collection of thriving house plants.

In her free time you can find her channeling her creativity into new designs, rocking out at concerts with her husband, or chasing Tennessee waterfalls. Ashley brings that same vibrant energy to keeping our practice organized, warm, and welcoming here at Back to Basics Dentistry!

Shannon
Registered Dental Hygienist

Shannon is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She graduated from TN State University in 2019 with an associate's in applied science. Shannon started her dental path with B2B in 2003 working in the front office, while being cross trained as a dental assistant. As her career progressed, she decided to go to hygiene school to further her education. Shannon is certified in CPR/BLS, Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Administration & Monitoring. She is married with two children, a boy and a girl. Being a wife of a coach, they enjoy spending most of their time at the ball field. In addition, they like to go camping with family or anything outdoors. She and her family currently attend Lone Oak Baptist Church and love their church family.

Wendi
Registered Dental Hygienist

Wendi is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Registered Dental Assistant. She graduated from TN State University in 2024 with an associate's in applied science. Wendi started as a dental assistant with B2B in 2010 for 12 years and decided to pursue a degree in hygiene. Wendi is CPR/BLS, Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Administration and Monitoring.

She has two children who keep her busy with sports and when not at a ball field or basketball or volleyball court, Wendi enjoys the outdoors kayaking, fishing and turkey hunting.

Cindy
Registered Dental Assistant

Cindy has been with our Back 2 Basics family since 1998. During this time she has achieved her Registered Dental Assistant certification, Coronal Polishing, Sealant Placement, and Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certifications. She is also certified in basic CPR. She has also completed her Expanded Function certification which allows her to restore teeth. Cindy enjoys getting to know each patient. She likes to help patients relax and enjoy their experience while in our office. Cindy is originally from Canada and was brought to Tennessee through her military husband where they settled and raised their two girls. She and her husband, who is now retired military, enjoy spending family time together, shopping and traveling.

Chelsea
Front Office

Chelsea has been working in the dental field for the past three years. She loves getting to know our patients and helping make every visit as easy and comfortable as possible. Whether she’s answering questions, helping with scheduling, or just sharing a smile she enjoys making sure everyone feels welcome from the moment they walk through our doors at Back to Basics Dentistry. Outside of work Chelsea loves staying active. You'll usually find her at the gym, relaxing at the beach, hiking, or doing just about anything outdoors. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and making the most of every chance to get outside. Chelsea is excited to be part of a team that treats our patients like family and she looks forward to seeing you at your next visit!

Crystal
Front Office

Crystal has worked in the dental field for three years and loves helping others feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment and enjoys building lasting relationships with patients while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. Crystal's friendly personality, caring nature, and commitment to helping others make her a valued member of the dental team here at Back to Basics Dentistry.

Outside of the office, Crystal enjoys exploring new places, hiking scenic trails, and staying active at the gym, where she likes to challenge herself and maintain a healthy lifestyle. She and her husband enjoy spending quality time together whenever possible as he is also serving in the military, which often keeps their time together especially meaningful. When they do get the chance they love traveling, trying new restaurants, or simply enjoying quiet moments at home. Crystal shares her home with their beloved Olde English Bully, Brutus who is a cherished member of the family and always keeps life entertaining with his playful and loving personality. In her free time, Crystal also enjoys relaxing with family and friends and making the most of every opportunity to create meaningful memories.
